Since my relationship ended and my life restarted, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of being more adventurous. I guess I mean that I want to see more places and meet more people. I want to be more spontaneous.
The titular character of the novel I am currently writing is an agent of the 18th century Parisian government. While his main goal is to straight-up murder people, I like the fact that he travels often and knows a dozen languages and thousands of people because of his work.
While I won’t be taking part of any murder, I like this idea of travel exposing you to new experiences. I want to be new. I want to meet strangers and learn new customs and do something that puts me out of my comfort zone. All of these things can only add to my writing. Right?
